Parish Festivals

Festival Volunteers :

Our Annual festivals’ are our largest fund-raising events of the year.  We presently have a Festival at each site.  The Festival at the St. Joseph Site has taken place on a Sunday, August 26, 2012.  There is a special two day rummage sale that took place on a previous week, Saturday and Sunday, August 18 and 19.  This Festival is a true celebration of the diversity of the Anglo and Latino community of our parish.  The Festival included great foods representing our ethnic groups, raffle items, dunk tank, piñatas, chldren games, bouncie houses, both a silent and live auction, Euchre tournament and a great bake sale.

Contact person is Elaine [email protected].

The Festival at St. James takes place the second Sunday of November.   In 2012, the date of the Festival is November 11.  Contact person is Carol Marshall—268-9930.

There are many levels of commitment depending on your time. Festival committee chairs and co-chairs should plan to serve for at least two years. We need many, many people for each of these Festivals to be involved in these parish events.  In fact, we need all parish members to be involved at some level.  It is a great way for parishioners to meet one another.

Activities during the Festivals at our St. James site include

Raffle tickets,  Pie Contest,  Games for Children, Bake Sale,  Dinner,   Trash and Treasure Sale (Rummage Sale), Silent Auction,  Entertainment,  Snack Bar, Book Sale,  Craft Sale,  Pfferrerneuse, Televised Football Games and more.
